What Is a Curriculum Partnership — and Why Your Preschool Needs One Now

Monday, June 23, 2025

In today’s competitive preschool market, having a generic curriculum file just isn’t enough.

Parents want proof of quality. Teachers want structure. And you, as a preschool owner, want a professional program that works every day, in every classroom.

That’s why many schools ask us for a curriculum partnership.

But what they really mean is:

“Help us build a preschool that parents trust, teachers enjoy, and children thrive in.”

At Kindiedays, we deliver on this with a 3-step model designed to turn your vision into reality — starting with training, followed by tools and structure, and concluding with the marketing and quality support that keeps your school ahead.

🎯 Step 1: Train Your Teachers with Real-World Lesson Plan Samples

The first step in any curriculum partnership is equipping your teachers.

Your teachers don’t just need content — they need confidence. That’s why Kindiedays starts with professional development through the Kindiedays Academy, including a sample set of weekly lesson plans.

What’s included:

  • Teacher workshops: 10 practical sessions on play-based learning, daily routines, and observation.
  • Sample lesson plans: Try real weekly plans with themes like “My Family,” “Seasons,” and “Shapes.” Aligned with Finland’s best practices and NEP 2020.
  • Certificates for completed courses — a strong motivator for your team and a trust signal to parents.

“To Ms. Stella, your kindness, patience, and dedication have made a lasting impact on us. We have learned so much from your guidance, not only in teaching practices but also in how to lead with compassion and professionalism. You have been a true mentor, and your encouragement will stay with us always,” - Teacher Participant, OneWorld Kindergarten, Bahrain.

🧰 Step 2: Implement Digi Tools + Full Curriculum to Create Structure

Once your teachers understand how quality early education works, it’s time to structure their daily routines.

Kindiedays offers both a complete set of curriculum materials and a digital tool to make your preschool run smoothly — and visibly.

You’ll get:

  • 300+ lesson plans for ages 1–6, organized by week and learning area
  • A user-friendly Digi Tool (mobile/web apps) for:
    • Planning daily activities
    • Documenting learning with photos
    • Building child portfolios automatically
    • Sharing real-time updates with parents

This makes your curriculum easy to use, consistent across classrooms, and impressive for parents.

"It is inevitable that the use of technology has spread to the world of education and childcare. Kindiedays has lessened our workload and increased our ability to assess, record, and plan our teaching with the children. The app is now an integral part of our daily routine" - Michelle Stamper, Manager, Finnish American Kindergarten.

📈 Step 3: Get Marketing & Operational Support to Maintain Quality

Great learning is only valuable if people see it.

That’s why the final step of our curriculum partnership focuses on helping you stand out in your community, gain trust from families, and run a professional preschool.

What we provide:

  • Parent Engagement Kit: Parent orientation session online, posters, presentation slides, and brochures that explain your program in a parent-friendly way.
  • Guidance for branding and admissions: How to communicate your quality through open houses, WhatsApp, and social media.
  • Ongoing mentoring to ensure your team continues implementing what they’ve learned.

Whether you're launching a new school or upgrading an existing one, we help you build a reputation for excellence — and grow sustainably.

"Implementing an Integrated Indian and Finnish curriculum has enriched our curriculum, emphasizing play-based learning. With Kindiedays software and the incorporation of Finnish Lesson Plans, we've differentiated ourselves in the market. Parents recognize the value of our educational philosophy, leading to improvement in admissions." - Saliil Arakkal, CEO,  Globetrotter Kids, India

How to Ease Preschool Separation Anxiety – Practical Tips Inside

Wednesday, June 18, 2025

When the new term starts, mornings can be tough. Going to a new preschool or daycare with new teachers and children might be scary for many children. When parents drop off their children at preschool, everything is not always that quick and simple. Saying goodbye can make children feel sad and upset. Tears are falling, and the child is clinging to the caregiver's leg - how to get out of this situation without more distress and panic??

Here are some tips on managing separation anxiety and how educators can help children feel safer and more secure.

What does sensory play mean, and why is it crucial in early education?

Thursday, June 12, 2025

“Sensory play is the foundation for all higher-level learning. Every time you engage the sensory system, you’re creating neural connections, which is good for complex development.”

- Stephanie Swinburne Occupational Therapist

Sensory play in early childhood is important for overall health and well-being. It forms the foundation of a child’s learning and perception - a base for later learning.

Babies start discovering the world around them primarily with their senses (touching, tasting, hearing, seeing, and smelling). Babies look at bright colors or lights, grasp their caregiver's fingers or hair, and put everything in their mouths. Learning through the five senses is beneficial even during the preschool and elementary school years.

Children learn about the different forms of expression by using multiple senses.

“For a small child, discussion and verbal learning have little educative power without actual experience. Learning rather happens through all the sensory channels. Children must live through, explore, and try things out to attach meaning to them”

- H. Hendrick

How to support sensory development?

Sensory play is anything that involves the use of one or several senses: touching, tasting, hearing, seeing, or smelling. Engaging the senses in play helps to develop motor skills, self-regulation, and sensory integration—and it is also fun!

The best way to support children's sensory development is through sensory play! Here are some concrete tips for sensory play activities that you can do with young children. The activities will help children develop and refine their sensory and motor skills, while also promoting their creativity and emotional well-being.

What is play really about?

Monday, June 2, 2025

Play is state of mind that one has when absorbed in an activity that provides enjoyment and a suspension of sense of time. And play is self-motivated so you want to do it again and again.

Dr. Stuart Brown

According to the National Institute for Play, play is crucial for early childhood development. Researchers have demonstrated that play is a deeply rooted biological process that is crucial to early childhood development. The biology of play has evolved because play promotes learning and adaptability, which in turn enhance survival in the world. Children learn most effectively through play.

Children truly enjoy and love to play, and play is one of the best things you can offer them.

Therefore, ensure that you include slots with time for free play in your weekly schedule.

Play improves when the environment is optimal. First of all, playtime should be long enough so that children get to develop their play without rushing. A quiet and calm play space offers more possibilities for their creativity to blossom. The play environment should also be inspiring, featuring good toys and other engaging materials. Play areas could be marked, for example, with shelves or carpets, so that one big room has several smaller play areas. It is a good idea to divide children into small groups, so that 2-5 children play together in one play corner. Overall, the children should feel comfortable in the play space.

Free Play — self-initiated play time — is a sacred space. As a parent, one of your jobs is to protect that space for your kids. Not interrupt it unnecessarily and not have other adults interrupt it unnecessarily.

Liz Memel, Certified RIE® Mentor Teacher

Personal interests guide children's play

According to the National Institute for Play, helping children pursue their interests through play is vital for their future and growth. Whatever skills children will need in their later life, play will help children understand how to learn, achieve things, and enjoy life. Play teaches humans to do things they like!
